Thursday, December 12, 2019 - Last month, the BMO Office Tower received I-924 exemplar approval, meaning client's I-526's will be accorded deference under the BMO project. An I-924 “exemplar petition” is filed by the regional center at the very beginning of the project offering. If the USCIS approves the exemplar, then the project is approved for all subsequent I-526 petitions UNLESS the project managers make a “material change” to the project and/or its documentation.
Today, a new Field Report became available for the BMO Office tower. The latest inspection report indicates 93% of work is inplace. Construction on BMO according to the review architect was on track to be completed December 15, 2019, 2 weeks delayed from the initial November 30th 2019 scheduled completion, but just days after the visit, the contractor indicated “a water main broke" and replacement of this equipment may take up to sixteen (16) weeks. Therefore, they are currently estimated a March 30, 2020 substantial completion date but we will continue to monitor the progress on an ongoing basis.
The BMO Harris Office Tower is a 25-story, 379,400 square foot building consisting of commercial offices, retail spaces, and 647 parking garage spaces. The financial center building will be the regional headquarters for one of the ten largest banks in North America, Bank of Montreal Harris. The project is located in the financial district of Milwaukee and will be a “next generation workplace” built with employees in mind. The vertical campus offers conference centers, a fitness center, 24/7 concierge security service, and views of Lake Michigan.
