Recently, The Water Council welcomed a large delegation from ChuZhou, China. The ChuZhou Delegation was in Milwaukee for two days of meetings and site visits to speak with many key partners around the city. The purpose of the visit was to discuss laying the ground-work to develop a water research center in ChuZhou. The members of the delegation were looking to draw upon The Water Council’s expertise and use the City of Milwaukee as a model. After a series of successful meetings, The Water Council entered into an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the ChuZhou Municipal Government. The MOU will help to further the opportunities for the Global Water Center as it expands its global reach.Through partnerships such as these, the Global Water Center, a FirstPathway Partners project, continues to experience a tremendous amount of success in its home state of Wisconsin and around the world.
