Thursday, June 13, 2019 - A recent field report on the construction progress of the JW Marriott in Anaheim, CA has revealed that construction is more than half-way completed at approximately 65%.
In summary, vertical construction is complete with work continuing on the interior and exterior of the building. Installation of the wall insulation and wallboard is in progress through the 11th floor with installation of the exterior skin lath and windows generally complete on the 3rd through the 11th floor with the ground floors in progress. Installation of the roofing and waterproofing at the pool deck is complete.
As noted in the last report, with the addition of new amenities such as a rooftop bar, the completion date is targeted for March 2020 and based on conversations with the project superintendent substantial competition will be achieved as scheduled.
The JW Marriott in Anaheim is will be the only 4-diamond rated hotel outside of Disneyland Park. The hotel has been called one of the best and most exciting EB-5 projects currently under construction with both I-924 and I-526 approval.
