FaB Wisconsin, a consortium of regional food and beverage companies, recently took note of the success of the Global Water Center, and will use it as a model for their future development plans.
The Global Water Center connects global water technology companies, innovative water entrepreneurs, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, academic programs, and water professionals. The Center acts as a sort of innovative hub for water research. Similarly, FaB Wisconsin is a hub for the food and beverage market within Wisconsin.
"FaB Wisconsin has landed a commitment for its first tenant in a proposed Center of Excellence for food and beverage manufacturing in the Milwaukee area. East Troy-based food manufacturer, Contract Comestibles, plans to lease about 2,000 square feet in a new 60,000-square-foot facility in Milwaukee that FaB envisions could be modeled after the Global Water Center, the group announced during its annual meeting November 18th."
The Global Water Center has been an inspiration and catalyst for many projects and development plans within the Milwaukee area and even nationally. To learn more about this FirstPathway Partners project, click here.
