Wednesday, July 31, 2013- FirstPathway Partners was honored to participate in the Word of Hope Ministries ribbon cutting ceremony which marked the grand re-opening of their computer lab. The Computer lab offers training in basic computer skills, job training, Children’s Academic Enrichment and GED/HSED courses. FirstPathway Partners is privileged to help promote workforce development and job creation in the Milwaukee Community through organizations like Word of Hope.
Since 1996, Word of Hope Ministries has taken an active role in bringing social and economic change to the residents of Milwaukee, assisting more than 23,000 community residents. Word of Hope Family Resource and Technology Center provides a wide array of spiritual, emotional, physical, educational and occupational services to individuals and families. In 2012 Word of Hope facilitated 218 job placements and trained 748 employment candidates.
