Wednesday, November 10, 2021 - Yesterday, Robert Kraft, IIUSA President and CEO of FirstPathway Partners shared his insight and thoughts on the current status of the EB-5 Regional Center program and the direction in which the program is headed. As President of IIUSA, Mr. Kraft has been a leading advocate for the reauthorization of the EB-5 Regional Center program, and has had an influential part in conversations with members of Congress and EB-5 industry leaders.
After covering the history of the most recent legislative events (following the decoupling in December 2020), and changes in the program, Mr. Kraft and panelists had optimistic views for the new bill which would support long-term re-authorization, securing better integrity measures, TEA definitions, minimum investment amounts, and visa relief (derivatives / parole).
