MMAC World Trade Association celebrated its 50 year anniversary of being host to the Wisconsin International Trade Conference.
Bob Kraft, FirstPathway Partners’ Chairman and CEO, moderated the China session, introducing the session’s key speakers: Raquel Cohen (International Trade Specialist, U.S. Department of Commerce of Intellectual Property Rights), Caroline Berube (Managing Partner, HJM Asia Law), and Kraft's longtime friend, Rear Admiral H.E. “Rick” Grant (USN (Ret.).
These featured speakers discussed the opportunities and challenges of international business, why and how to include the Chinese market into your business strategy, adjusting to new government leaders, and understanding and embracing cultural differences.
Wisconsin Trade Association had this to say about Wisconsin’s trade industry: “International trade is strong and growing in Wisconsin. In the last 10 years, regional exports grew 45%. But we have just begun to tap our full exporting potential. As more companies engage globally, the region and state will realize significant business growth and growth in high-paying jobs.”
FirstPathway Partners is proud to have been a part of this event, notably for having Bob Kraft moderate the China session. We congratulate MMAC on celebrating 50 years.
