The Water Council was recently given recognition for its continued support of young startups developing cutting edge technology. Of the many successful startups the Water Council supports CORNCOB Inc.’s new machine, affectionately known as Alfie, was featured during Milwaukee’s Water Week. Alfie is a high-tech filtration system that removes harmful materials from water and creates safe drinking water.This kind of development and ingenuity is being credited for making Milwaukee a quote “wellspring of the water technology industry.” However, Alfie is not just providing solutions for clean water in the U.S. but is also a potential global solution.
