The Water Council was recently given recognition for its continued support of young startups developing cutting edge technology. Of the many successful startups the Water Council supports CORNCOB Inc.’s new machine, affectionately known as Alfie, was featured during Milwaukee’s Water Week. Alfie is a high-tech filtration system that removes harmful materials from water and creates safe drinking water. This kind of development and ingenuity is being credited for making Milwaukee a quote “wellspring of the water technology industry.” However, Alfie is not just providing solutions for clean water in the U.S. but is also a potential global solution. The Water Council’s Vice President of Business Development, Karen Frost, said the young startup was “one successful example of the many startup companies we work with.”CORNCOB Inc.’s President Douglas Hwang as well as Karen Frost made it clear in their comments that they are not only “delighted” to work with such cutting edge technology to deliver solutions to the world, but that they were glad to see it happening here in the city of Milwaukee. FirstPathway Partners is proud to be a part of job creation and bright futures that come from businesses like the Water Council. If you would like to know more about Milwaukee Water Week or learn more about how Milwaukee’s own Water Council is supporting projects that make cutting edge technology like Alfie possible, visit the Water Council’s page at https://thewatercouncil.com
