Last week, IIUSA reported on the U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Consular Affairs releasing the Visa Bulletin for the month of November 2018 (View PDF). The November 2018 Visa Bulletin reveals a cutoff date of August 15, 2014, for Mainland-China born applicants and February 01, 2016 for applicants from Vietnam.
Mainland Chinese and Vietnamese born investors who filed their I-526 petitions on or before the new cutoff dates will be eligible to schedule interviews with Department of State Consular offices and be issued conditional immigration visas to enter the U.S. or apply for adjustment of status if they are already in the U.S. Final action dates for other countries remain current, allowing qualified applicants from other parts of the world to move forward with obtaining their EB-5 visa.
