U.S. Department of the Interior Visits Global Water Center

Recently the Center hosted the United States Department of the Interior (DOI). The DOI is a Cabinet-level agency that manages America's vast natural and cultural resources. The meeting was successful in introducing the DOI delegation to the Water Council's in-depth freshwater research and technology.

"The DOI delegation consisted of Mike Connor, Deputy Secretary and Martin Doyle, Senior Conservation Finance Fellow. The group spent the full morning meeting with representatives from A.O. Smith Corporation, University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences, Water Equipment & Policy Research Center, Alliance for Water Stewardship – North America, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, The Water Council, and several water technology startups located within the Global Water Center."

The Global Water Center looks forward to building its new relationship with the DOI and cementing its position as the Freshwater Capital of the World.
