Following a Friday vote by (the city of) West Allis officials, construction on FirstPathway Partners’ funded, Hampton Inn & Suites, will officially commence in a matter of weeks. This milestone was recently featured in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Read the article here.
The hotel will be located near the Wisconsin State Fair grounds, making for a prime and convenient location for Fair patrons. The four-story hotel will consist of 100 guest rooms, a banquet hall with seating for 300 people, an indoor pool and spa, exercise room, lounge, and business center.
In addition to the hotel’s proximity to the State Fair, it is within walking distance of the Petit National Ice Center, The Wisconsin Exposition Center, and the Milwaukee Mile (an auto racing venue). Just a short drive away from the hotel is Miller Park, home to the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team, with seating for nearly 42,000 fans.
Construction on the hotel is expected to be completed by next year, in time for the 2015 Wisconsin State Fair.
