The FirstPathway Partners' project celebrated its grand opening with a hops cutting--a twist on the traditional ribbon cutting. The celebration also included a keg tapping, paying homage to the area's rich history in beer. Milwaukee Mayor, Tom Barrett, spoke at the event, stressing the significance of the hotel in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward neighborhood, an area sprawling with boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment.
The efforts of FirstPathway Partners, along with Chairman and CEO, Bob Kraft, were praised during a speech made by Kimpton Journeyman General Manager, Patrick Gaskin.

The hotel boasts 158 guest rooms, 9 stories, a roof-top bar with lakefront views, lounge, more than 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space, concierge, and valet and underground parking. The featured restaurant, Tre Rivali, offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes, with samplings from France, Italy, Spain, North Africa, Greece, Morocco, Turkey, and Israel. Tre Rivali also injects its menu with local and organic ingredients, as well as seasonal produce from the area's Great Lakes.
